A leading Electrical E&I company is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to be based at their office in Pretoria.

This position is responsible for formulating detailed C&I designs, processes and procedures. Propose budgets, establish timelines for C&I projects and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to present a complete solution to the client.

• Transformer Sizing
• Cable Schedules
• MCC design (IEC61439)
• MCC Layout
• Heat Rise Calculation
• Schematic Diagrams
• Equipment Selection
• Network Layout
• Lighting Design
• Substation Design
• Cable Rack And Routing
• Legal Electrical Requirements
• Installation Requirements

Qualification and Requirements:

• Degree/ Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent
• Eng or Pr. Tech Essential
• 6 - 10 years Operational and Design Experience (inclusive of relevant design program)
• Instrumentation experience essential
• Exposure to Mining, Processing or Oil & Gas Industry
• Exposure to Industrial Plants and Processes
• SANS Standards
• International Electrical and Instrumentation Standards
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
• Proficiency with all Microsoft packages
