Ensure that LOTO procedures are adhered to at all times.

Ensure work areas including equipment in use are safe, and all EHS programs are always adhered to.

Conduct daily safety checks as per safety checklist and ensure that Artisans conduct their daily safety checklist.

Ensure that all statutory inspections on plant and equipment are done and records kept safely.

Perform routine preventative maintenance through work orders and provide feedback.

Mentor learners through coaching.

Commission equipment after maintenance has been carried out.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric.
2. 2 to 3 years’ experience as an Artisan in the manufacturing environment, with extensive knowledge of fault finding.
3. Ability to run a shift and possess good communication skills.
4. PLC knowledge is an added advantage.

To maintain production plant such that 90% availability is achieved with regards to Electrical, Fault finding, calibrations, PLC, and mechanical work within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
