Information Technology Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, network management, and system administration. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of their projects with the help of the IT Manager, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior team members. A willingness to learn, be open to change, and be a team player is essential. The candidate must also be able to take instructions from the IT Manager. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to work after hours when needed and once a month on a Saturday and be on standby for the rest of the weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement and manage IT infrastructure and systems.
2. Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and reliability.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
4. Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
5. Mentor and guide junior IT staff.

Required Qualifications:

1. Information Technology diploma or certificate in related field.
2. Relevant certifications (e.g., A+, N+, S+, CCNA, MCSE, Office365).

Experience Needed:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Support or a similar role.
2. Extensive experience with MS Servers, Hyper-V and Veeam.
3. Linux Servers will be a benefit but not essential.
4. Sound knowledge of MS Active Directory and MS Office 365 Identity.
5. Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint (OneDrive), Exchange and Licensing.
6. Knowledge of MS Office 365 Forms and Power Automate will be beneficial.
7. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is not essential but beneficial.
8. Unifi Switches with APs will be beneficial.
9. Meraki firewalls will be beneficial.
10. Familiarity with in-house application systems such as Excalibur, Ghost Practice, and Lexis Convey.
11. Experience with Fresh as a ticketing system and call center application.
12. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
15. Team Player is a requirement.
