IT Support and Audio Visual Assistant Job Responsibilities
Technical Support for Staff & Learners
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including laptops, internet connectivity, and audio/visual equipment such as projectors and Clevertouch Boards.
Address account-related issues for Google Workspace (Google Suite) and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Office 365).
Resolve cable connection problems and maintain organized cable setups.
Manage IT inventory, tracking laptops, computers, chargers, and other devices, ensuring proper labelling.
Compile and update inventory lists for roaming and stored devices.
Assist with technical needs in the computer lab in collaboration with staff members.
Maintain, powerwash, and prepare Chromebooks for student use.
Organize and move outdated equipment to storage.
Assist in managing printer cartridge replacements and printer-related issues.
Professional Documentation for the I.T Department.
Assist the Music department with event setup and management of audio and streaming events (Sometimes on weekend events such as Rugby games and Grey when required).
Compile assembly presentation/slideshow with Google Docs or MS PowerPoint.
Software & Tools Expertise
Proficient in Google Workspace, including Google Admin, Google Sheets, Docs, Sites, and Drive.
Skilled in Microsoft 365, Power Apps, and Teams.
Knowledgeable in classroom tools such as Clevertouch software (Clevershare, Lynx Whiteboard).
Familiar with audio-visual streaming software, including OBS and related extensions like Touch Portal.
Experience with YouTube Studio for streaming, X Air Edit for audio control, and ATEM Software Control.
Proficient in remote support software like Any Desk and TeamViewer, and applications such as Karri App and Viplex Display software.
Well-versed in Windows 10/11 operating systems, Windows Domain, and PC imaging processes.
MacOS basic knowledge.
Expertise in managing Chrome OS environments.
