Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer position available in Centurion.

My client is a company that operates in the consulting space. Their offices are in Centurion. They are looking for an Industrial Engineer with about 5 years experience that is prepared to travel and work at different client sites as needed.

This person must have leadership / management experience and preferably come out of a manufacturing environment.

Salary: R50,000 – R80,000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluating client’s existing business processes especially relating to operations but also the integration between finance and operations.
2. Designing new business processes for a client in order to facilitate a sound control environment, conformance to regulatory requirements and proper business practices as well as accurate and timely reporting (both financial and non-financial).
3. Evaluating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to decide on the best fit for a customer in order to obtain results as stipulated in the designed business processes.
4. Taking part in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning system for the customer.
5. Supporting customers where new systems have been implemented.

Requirements:

1. BSc Industrial Engineering degree.
2. 5 – 10 years experience.
3. Willingness to travel.
4. Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Sound leadership skills.
