Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer position available in Bellville.

My client is a company that operates in the consulting space. Their offices are in Belville.

They are looking for an Industrial Engineer with about 5 years experience that is prepared to travel and work at different client sites as needed.

This person must have leadership / management experience and preferably come out of a manufacturing environment.

Salary: R50,000 – R80,000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluating client’s existing business processes especially relating to operations but also the integration between finance and operations
• Designing new business processes for a client in order to facilitate a sound control environment, conformance to regulatory requirements and proper business practices as well as accurate and timely reporting (both financial and non-financial)
• Evaluating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to decide on the best fit for a customer in order to obtain results as stipulated in the designed business processes
• Taking part in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning system for the customer
• Supporting customers where new systems have been implemented

Requirements:

• B.Eng degree (Industrial Engineering).
• Willingness to travel (locally as well as internationally).
• Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Sound leadership skills.
