The Organisation requires the services of an Independent Contractor in the Chief Financial Officer’s Division. This role will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

Requirements

• Post Graduate Accounting Degree and be registered as part of a professional body.
• At least 10 years of work experience in an advisory role in financial management, auditing, and related areas.
• Must have at least 10 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of GRAP Standards.
• Financial Management.
• Risk Management.
• PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
• Government priorities, policies, and legislation.
• Project management.
• Strategic management.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical decision-making.
• Project and programme management.
• Affluent in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Technical support and advisory service to the CFO and her team.
• Innovation in improving financial workflows and processes within the CFO’s office.
• Data Modelling and Analytical variance analysis and reporting across relevant areas in finance.
• Project Management and reporting for projects within the CFO’s office.
• Financial statement advisory support and review.
• Finance Policy review and enhancements.
• Any other Adhoc responsibilities.
• Compilation and review of various reports and other documents.
