Job description
  • Ability to report incidents and escalate to senior investigators.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Client liaison and professional client relationship.
  • Ongoing liaison with client and other personnel.
  • Answer and action all incoming calls.
  • Be able to identify trends, patterns, and modus operandi.
  • Data interpretation.
  • Review and authenticate all incoming incidents, accurately and efficiently requesting any missing information or documentation.
  • Perform various administrative duties required to support the function.
  • Confident working on different software platforms.
  • Adhere to all instructions by management.
  • Must be able to work weekdays, 06h00 to 18h00.
  • Be prepared to be on standby over weekends.
  • Sound knowledge of company’s disciplinary procedures.

Preferred qualifications / attributes / skills:

  • PSIRA Certification Grade A.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Sound security knowledge.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • SAPS experience will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of investigation techniques.
  • Must have excellent presentation, verbal communication, and report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Criminal Procedures Act.
  • Desktop investigation.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Criminology knowledge.
  • Adequate knowledge for compiling reports.
  • Ability to operate with confidence under pressure and during emergencies.
  • Good communication skills in English and one other South African language.
