Identity Management Engineer (Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start
• Engineer will possess a Security+ CE, CASP, or CISSP certification
• Additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or similar are highly desirable for compute environment baseline certification
• At least 8 years job experience in a related field
• Proven experience engineering and designing solutions in:
  • Active Directory
  • Azure Active Directory
  • RHEL IDM
  • Other DoD solutions for IAM
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Current knowledge of IT requirements analysis, including capacity planning and interface integration. Breadth of knowledge will include hypervisors, blade servers, converged and hyper-converged hardware platforms, virtual desktop software, Mobile Device Management, etc.
• Previous experience with multi-site, multi-vendor enterprise IT architecture. Engineer will document and socialize network design and design considerations to a change-management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate openly and frankly with all internal and external partners, such as Government Engineers, Contractor Engineers, Contractor Operations staff, Management, and 3rd party vendors
• Work independently, including the self-management of projects. Help others and ask for help without hesitation.
• Ensure timely delivery of all Engineering Service Requests, removing any obstacles to completing work as scheduled
• Perform risk analysis of each Engineering Service Request, and inform all stakeholders of the applicable risks
• Provide technical guidance and leadership on the Systems Engineering with a focus on IAM solutions within the Corps of Engineers’ environment
• Assist/Mentor junior engineers on IAM solutions
• Participate in developing the target multi-platform IAM architecture
• Design new implementations of the IAM environment and infrastructure, and after Information Assurance review, coordinate the installation of them with the DevOps Engineer, Enterprise Operations, and relevant stakeholders
• Document the environment for the IAM architecture, including network port connectivity, and design choices of the associated applications (Low Level Design, High Level Design)
• Integrate variety of systems into the enterprise Configuration Management Database
• Automate facets of the IAM environment, including deployment, SSL certificate monitoring/requests, patching and upgrades in coordination with DevOps Engineers
• Provide secure, reliable, and high performing configurations of the IAM environments
• Other duties as assigned
