Position: Sales Consultant

• Location: Cape Town
• Department: Installations
• Reporting to: Managing Director
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Remuneration: R25,000 – R50,000 per month (Basic salary, excellent commission structure, car, fuel, and cell phone allowances)

About the Role
As a Sales Consultant at Airvent, you will play a vital role in client liaison, costing, planning, and project execution. You’ll deliver excellence by collaborating with clients, suppliers, and technical teams to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional sales knowledge and customer service.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain GP on projects.
• Plan and manage projects on-site, including BOQs, materials, and team schedules.
• Oversee site meetings, instructions, and variation orders.
• Read, measure, and interpret building plans on-site and off.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and builders.
• Compile and submit O&M manuals and ensure as-built plans align with completed scopes.
• Stay informed on HVAC products and installation methods through supplier training.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Grade 12 minimum; trade-related qualifications in Sales, Project Management, or Mechanical Engineering are advantageous.
• Experience: At least 5 years in a Sales or Project Management role with strong HVAC knowledge.
• Skills: Advanced communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
• Additional Requirements: Own vehicle and valid driver’s license, physically fit, and comfortable working at heights.
