Job description

Purpose of the Position: This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, overseeing recruitment, training, payroll, and compliance with South African labour laws, and facilitating strong employee relations.

  6. Payroll and Compensation Management
  7. Labour Relations and Industrial Disputes
  8. Employment Equity Compliance
  9. BBBEE Compliance
  10. Succession Planning and Talent Management
  11. Reporting and HR Metrics
  12. HRIS Management
  13. Compliance with Labour Legislation
  14. Employee Engagement and Retention
  15. Manage Bargaining Council Agreements (BCCEI)

Prerequisites

  1. Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
  2. 10 years’ experience
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of South African Labour Law, including LRA, BCEA, Employment Equity, and Skills Development Acts.
  4. Proven track record in CCMA proceedings.
  5. Experience with Skills Development Facilitation (SDF).
  6. Proficiency in Advanced Excel and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  7. Hands-on operational approach to HR.
  8. Ability to work autonomously.
