Job description

Complete general HR projects by clarifying objectives, setting timetables and schedules. Appoint and capture new employees' information onto the SAGE Payroll system. Facilitate and complete all HR documentation required for appointments, terminations, death claims, disability claims, IODs, etc.

Completion of UI19 documentation and salary schedules for terminated employees on an ad hoc basis and guide branches on the process thereof. Update and facilitate branches with the processes relating to Department of Labour inspections. Request and manage process and compliance as requested by PSIRA, Compensation Commissioner, and the Department of Labour. Perform ad-hoc duties as per instruction from time to time.

Preferred Qualifications / Attributes / Skills:

  1. Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  2. HR Degree or equivalent qualification from a certified tertiary institution
  3. Previous HR experience will be advantageous
  4. Maintain good working relations and high level of professionalism towards clients and colleagues
  5. Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel - level 3 advanced, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  6. Sound communication skills (verbal and in writing)
  7. Bilingual (English and any other South African language)
  8. Good time management and must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Be assertive and get information required
  10. Clean disciplinary, criminal, and credit record
  11. Must be willing and able to travel
