Job description

Business Partnering & HC Support:

  • Collaborate with line management to drive people and culture strategies that foster a robust, high-performing organization.
  • Advising on pay and other issues, including promotion and benefits; administer payroll and maintain staff records
  • Maintain effective employee relations practices, including effective relationships with Executives, Senior Leadership Team, and all Department/People Managers.
  • Provides employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HC matters including performance, discipline, organizational decisions and career development.
  • Provides interpretation and guidance on human capital policies and employment law
  • Supporting and advising the Executive Team on all HC issues

Staffing:

  • Coordinates, manages and participates in the recruitment process to facilitate the filling of open positions in a timely manner, whilst ensuring the quality of employees hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and selection techniques, and compliance with legislated requirements.
  • Lead Recruiter for all open roles within the region, supports all recruitment activities for the organization as needed. Owns openings from job description development all the way through to offer acceptance and initiates onboarding.
  • Works with hiring managers to understand the recruitment process, design appropriate job descriptions, coordinate with the department heads for the manpower planning and recruitment,
  • Manage the recruitment and interviewing process including working with external recruiters, interviewing, shortlisting candidates and maintaining interviewing record & forms and conduct reference checks if required.
  • Works with management to appropriately communicate all staff changes (hires, terminations, role transfers) to department and organization through various communication channels.
  • Establishing and conducting HC Onboarding, Departmental induction programs and Ethics trainings
  • Conducting employees exit interviews, discussing the outcomes with the Line Managers in order to ensure corrective actions in place.
  • Ensuring recruitment compliance in all aspects of the process.
  • Continuously improve the onboarding experience for new hires.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Ensure competitive remuneration in alignment with market benchmarks and collaborate with external providers as needed.
  • Manage and maintain employee benefits, including employee communication and account handling for starters, movers, and leavers.
  • Administer bonuses, salary adjustments, and annual processes, including payroll coordination.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and monitor high-quality performance management processes, encompassing goal setting and appraisals for both office and field staff, aligned with the EME performance framework.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of performance management system, Team annual objective and conducting performance appraisals process.
  • Leads people development and learning processes to improve organizational competencies. Works with managers to develop training on a company, department and individual employee level.
  • Closely partners with stakeholders to effectively communicate expectations, develop talent, and administer performance improvement plans when necessary
  • Analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers based on the development plan of the employees and co-ordinate the training calendar.
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures and Performance improvements plan
  • Assisting managers and other employees in the use of performance management tools. Providing support in the management of the performance management system, ensuring that the process is completed, and practices are complied with.

Talent Management and Organisation Culture:

  • Drive people development initiatives (training, coaching, feedback) aligned with the Succession Planning and Talent Development framework.
  • Support and strengthen a positive corporate culture.
  • Develop and/or administer employee engagement programs and awards to recognize and motivate staff

Change agent:

  • Champion cultural transformation in Northern Europe & CEE, guiding change management and HC initiatives to align with regional objectives.

HC processes and systems:

  • Ensure effective HC processes and system compliance.
  • Coordinate people-related activities as the first line of support for business and functional queries.
  • Maintain and update the HCIS, ensuring GDPR and Group compliance.
  • Complete and submit group reports (e.g., sustainability) accurately and within timelines.
  • Oversee general administration, policy maintenance, and procedural updates as per GDPR, Group, and local guidelines.

HC Controlling:

  • Track and report on HC KPIs to assess functional performance.

Employee Relations:

  • Managing employee relations including dealing with capacity issues, resolve disputes, terminations and administering disciplinary procedures.

Qualifications:

  • HR degree or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience
  • CIPD membership desirable

Experience and skills:

  • Over 8 years of experience in Human Resources in similar roles
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry desirable
  • Experience in a multinational environment or a regional role desirable
  • Proficient in MS office with intermediate to advance excel skills
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to multi task
  • Excellent communication skills – fluency in English is a must
  • Energetic with strong interpersonal skills
