We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager, to be part of the team, working together to meet our global targets, working locally, thinking globally and with high responsibility in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with the OHS Act 85 and Construction Regulations.
  2. Maintain and manage the Safety File (risk assessments, method statements, permits).
  3. Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
  4. Implement and monitor safe work procedures for high-risk activities.
  5. Manage legal appointments and ensure qualifications of site personnel.
  6. Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  7. Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  8. Ensure PPE compliance and promote an effective safety culture.
  9. Coordinate HSE training and inductions for workers.
  10. Conduct up tower inspections.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of work experience within HSE in a similar role.
  2. Master's degree in HSE or similar.
  3. High proficiency level of English.
  4. Master's degree in Environment will be a clear added value.
  5. IRCA Lead auditor in ISO and OHSAS would be an added value.
  6. In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and best practices, quality ISO standards, concepts, processes, and procedures.
  7. Proficiency in hazard jobsite assessment / analysis / solution, risk assessments, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
  8. Development / implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive HSE Plans.
  9. Conducting inspections and audits.
  10. Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  11. Ability to supervise a remote team.
  12. Flexibility to travel.
  13. Soft skills to coordinate a diverse team.
  14. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks, work, and accommodate new demands as they arise.
  15. Solid interpersonal, computer, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  16. Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  17. Solution-oriented, problem solver.
