HRIS Solutions Architect

Our client requires a solution architect for designing comprehensive technology solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the strategy objectives.

The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver innovative and effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design: Develop and document high-level architecture designs and detailed technical specifications for new HRIS system, including multiple integrations across various business units.
2. Technology Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables.
3. Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation of new HRIS solution from conception through deployment, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to understand requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure successful implementation.
5. Problem Solving: Identify potential technical issues and develop strategies to resolve them effectively and efficiently.
6. Vendor Management: Work closely with implementation partner for HRIS solution, to ensure high standards of code quality and system performance.
7. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, solution implementations, and best practices.
8. Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in architectural practices.
9. Feasibility: Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Experience: 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or a related field.
2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
3. Architectural Skills: Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance systems and solutions.
4. Technical Expertise:
   • Strong understanding of HRIS platforms and ecosystems.
   • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
   • Strong knowledge of data translation (internal schemas) into or out of existing/new HRIS systems and integration patterns.
   • Understanding data protection & employee sensitive data – encryption, etc.
   • Industry experience in financial services required.
5. Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide technical teams and influence stakeholders.
6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing effective solutions to complex technical challenges.
