2+ years of experience in credit vetting, credit control or risk management (Compulsory)
Strong understanding of credit assessment principles
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, FICA)
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing customers
Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents
Evaluate creditworthiness based on established criteria
Recommend credit limits and terms
Monitor customer credit exposure and adjust limits as needed
Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations
Identify and report potential risks to management
Maintain accurate and organized credit files
Update customer information in the database
Generate credit reports and analytics
