Hr Officer

A leading manufacturing company based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Training Officer who will play a key role in equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing training needs
2. Developing and managing training plans
3. Facilitating onboarding and in-house training programs
4. Ensuring compliance with accreditation and statutory requirements
5. Monitoring trainee progress
6. Maintaining quality standards
7. Implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency
8. Overseeing skills audits
9. Maintaining training records
10. Contributing to reducing quality defects in the workplace

Requirements:

1. Matric or an equivalent NQF 4 qualification
2. 5 years of training and skills development experience within a manufacturing environment
3. Full understanding of the Skills Development Act
