Job description

Salary : Negotiable (R60,000 - R75,000 per month)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and manage all HR functions across a group of companies. This role requires a strong generalist HR background with exceptional expertise in Industrial Relations (IR). The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, hands-on professional who thrives in an operational environment and has a proven track record in labour law compliance, CCMA representation, and strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Develop, review, and implement HR policies and best practices
  2. Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
  3. Oversee payroll administration for all group companies
  4. Plan and manage the salary budget
  5. Handle all labour legislation matters, including IR negotiations and dispute resolution
  6. Represent the company at the CCMA and other regulatory bodies
  7. Develop and maintain Employment Equity plans
  8. Manage BBBEE compliance, including skills development and management control
  9. Oversee SETA submissions and claims
  10. Implement succession planning strategies
  11. Ensure compliance with Bargaining Council agreements (BCCEI)

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 10+ years experience as an HR generalist
  • Strong knowledge of Labour Law (LRA, BCEA, EE, Skills Development Act)
  • Proven CCMA track record
  • SDF experience (Skills Development Facilitator)
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Advanced Excel
  • Ability to multitask and work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Hands-on, operational HR approach with a dynamic and determined mindset

Qualifications & Prerequisites :

Degree / Diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent)
