As an HR Manager you will play a key role in defining and implementing the HR strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives. You will be responsible for managing talent, aligning human resources with business priorities, and developing a strong organization culture. You will oversee all strategic and operational HR processes to ensure the effective management of employees.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy Definition and Implementation Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business direction. Analyze organizational needs and industry trends to create forward-looking HR plans. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure HR initiatives support company goals.
Recruitment and Talent Management Design and manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract top talent. Build talent pipelines for critical roles through proactive sourcing and employer branding. Oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires. Develop succession planning and career pathing frameworks.
Performance Management and Goal Setting Design and implement performance management systems that foster continuous feedback and improvement. Align individual goals with departmental and organizational objectives. Support managers in conducting fair and constructive performance reviews.
Competency Development and Training Management Identify competency gaps and implement learning and development strategies. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
Labor Relations and Conflict Management Maintain positive labor relations through effective communication and grievance resolution. Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective agreements (if applicable). Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Management Develop competitive compensation structures and benefit programs. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with regulations. Regularly review market trends to maintain equitable and motivating reward systems.
Corporate Culture and Employee Well-being Champion initiatives that reinforce organizational values and culture. Design and implement employee engagement and well-being programs. Foster an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment.
Change Management and Organizational Transformation Lead HR support in organizational change initiatives and restructuring efforts. Communicate changes effectively and manage resistance to ensure smooth transitions. Align HR practices with evolving organizational structures and business models.
Requirements
Honour's degree in Human resources, Labour Law, Management, or a related field.
At least 10 to 15 years of successful experience in a similar role, preferably in a rapidly growing or transforming environment.
Deep knowledge of labour law, social relations, and HR tools (HRIS, payroll software, etc).
Ability to define and implement an HR strategy aligned with the company's vision, strong understanding of business challenges.
Team management skills, ability to motivate, coach, and develop talent.
Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, strong listening skills, stress management, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in English (an asset in an international environment).
