Minimum Requirements:
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in HR or related field is advantageous.
4–6 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist or HR management role.
In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR practices.
Experience with payroll and performance systems (e.g., Sage).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Valid South African Driver’s License.
Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Strategy: Serve as the go-to HR resource for the organization, aligning people strategy with business goals.
Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Policy Development & Training: Create, implement, and communicate HR policies; deliver staff workshops and compliance training.
HR Systems & Tools: Set up and manage performance and leave tracking systems; train staff on usage and updates.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Establish payroll processes and manage benefit structures (e.g., provident fund, medical aid).
Compliance Management: Ensure full adherence to labour laws and oversee statutory reporting (e.g., SARS, UIF, COIDA).
