HR Manager position available in Boksburg.

A dynamic and community-focused organization is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to lead and execute HR strategy and operations.

This pivotal role involves driving talent initiatives, ensuring legislative compliance, overseeing HR systems, and promoting a positive workplace culture. Ideal for someone who can balance strategic input with day-to-day execution, especially in a fast-evolving, impact-driven environment.

Salary: R35 000 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in HR or related field is advantageous.
  • 4–6 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist or HR management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR practices.
  • Experience with payroll and performance systems (e.g., Sage).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid South African Driver’s License.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • HR Leadership & Strategy: Serve as the go-to HR resource for the organization, aligning people strategy with business goals.
  • Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Policy Development & Training: Create, implement, and communicate HR policies; deliver staff workshops and compliance training.
  • HR Systems & Tools: Set up and manage performance and leave tracking systems; train staff on usage and updates.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Establish payroll processes and manage benefit structures (e.g., provident fund, medical aid).
  • Compliance Management: Ensure full adherence to labour laws and oversee statutory reporting (e.g., SARS, UIF, COIDA).
  • Employee Relations: Handle disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Workplace Wellness: Collaborate with partners to deliver health and wellness programs tailored to staff needs.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyse HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Training & Development: Identify skills gaps and coordinate internal and external training opportunities.
