Duties & Responsibilities

  1. HR Generalist, IR Specialist
  2. Oversee both HR and IR
  3. Assist in planning and managing recruitment and selection of staff
  4. Plan and conduct new employee orientation
  5. Identify and manage training and development needs for employees
  6. Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures
  7. Administer HR policies and procedures
  8. Administer compensation and benefits
  9. Ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
  10. Assist managers with performance management system
  11. Handle employee complaints, assist IR officers with grievances and disputes
  12. Consolidate IR reports promptly and ensure accurate distribution to relevant stakeholders
  13. Handle IR matters and employee grievances efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution and compliance with legal requirements
  14. Maintain organized documentation of IR-related proceedings and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  15. Provide general HR assistance as required to support the HR team
  16. Draft and issue warnings as in line with the disciplinary code
  17. Set up hearings
  18. Advise managers and supervisors on discipline
  19. Act as company representative at CCMA
  20. Attend Corn - Arb, Conciliation, and Arbitration

Desired Experience & Qualification

  1. Degree or diploma in human resources management, Industrial Relations, or equivalent
  2. Generalist human resources experience
  3. Knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management
  4. Knowledge of business principles
  5. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  6. Knowledge of relevant software
  7. 3-5 years of experience within FMCG
  8. Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  9. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  10. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
