HR Generalist
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related.
- Proven experience in a Training and Development role.
- Proven experience with MerSeta & Services Seta.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs using a variety of methods.
- Possess the capability to operate individually or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Training & Development
- Develop and execute training initiatives that are in line with the company's mission and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and create customised courses.
- Deliver engaging training sessions using a variety of methods, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
- Assess the efficacy of training programs and make adjustments as required.
- Foster and sustain connections with external training providers and vendors.
- Keep abreast of the most recent advancements and techniques in education and training.
- Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs.
- Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
- Manage Skills Programmes.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain training records and reports.
