Purpose of Job

To proactively contribute to the implementation of HR procedures and processes within the business. To deliver comprehensive, proactive and integrated HR advisory, process and transaction support services to the business, ensuring high levels of both efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Key Accountabilities

  1. Leads the implementation and execution of HR solutions in the assigned client portfolio with high levels of customer service and in compliance with set standards and policies.
  2. Acts as a clear single point of contact for HR related issues.
  3. Continuously contributes to increased HR process efficiencies in business, demonstrates an in-depth understanding of HR processes and highlights any inefficiency and recommends corrective actions to the relevant HR team members and management.
  4. Support the provision of HR data and analytics through accurate and reliable calculations and reports.
  5. Provide relevant analytics facilitating effective decision making based on empirical information and accurate data.
  6. Compiles and presents meaningful HR reports through interpretation, comparisons and trend analyses.
  7. Supports the recruitment and on-boarding of employees whilst ensuring a positive experience for new employees.
  8. Takes an active part in the people selection process, in collaboration with the more senior Business Partners or HR Managers and the relevant line managers.
  9. Manages the employment contracting, enrolment and on-boarding process for new employees.
  10. Supports the implementation of Talent management processes as required and ensures these are executed efficiently.
  11. Support Employee Relations objectives through compliance with procedural and substantive fairness requirements.
  12. Provides employees and line managers with a sound understanding of Compensation and Benefits principles, policies and procedures.
  13. Executes accurate calculation of remuneration, rewards and benefits and assists with salary benchmarking.
  14. Manages the efficient and effective implementation of staff movement and separation processes and procedures.
  15. Implements clearly defined change management processes and facilitates the successful implementation of change projects.
  16. Demonstrates the Sasol values and supports the articulation of vision and values aligned to business direction.
  17. Continuously seeks to improve personal mastery, professional and business growth.

Formal Education

Grade 12
University Bachelors Degree
