Job description

Job Purpose: The primary role of the HR and Office Administrator is to support the Human Resources department. This includes a range of administrative duties such as maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and other HR-related matters. Additionally, the HR and Office Administrator will be responsible for coordinating cellphone contract management, handling grocery shopping for the office, assisting the Compliance Manager with various tasks, and organizing payment and schedules for cleaning staff. This role is to ensure smooth and efficient office operations while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Grade 12
  2. Tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma in Human Resources)
  3. 3 years' experience as a HR Admin or Administrator.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  1. Computer Literate (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  2. Strong Excel
  3. Knowledge of South African laws and HR compliance and regulations (Africa Laws would be advantageous)
  4. An understanding of, and insight into, the BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE and POPI Acts
  5. Able to work well under pressure / multitask
  6. Attention to detail
  7. Punctual & Deadline oriented
  8. Problem solving skills
  9. Ability to manage own time effectively

  13. Update movement sheet for payroll
  14. Performance Reviews
  15. Assist to gather documents for BBBEE Audit, Financial Year End Audit, BCEA Inspection, OHSA Inspection and COID Inspection
  16. Arrange for the necessary internal or external training
  17. Submit EFT's for training
  18. Exit interviews
  19. UI19
  20. Salary Schedule
  21. Certificate of Service
  22. Maintenance of all employee files and related documents
  23. Supporting all internal and external related inquiries and requests
  24. Scheduling meetings and interviews
  25. Organizing company functions and team buildings
  26. Booking training for employees
  27. Drafting disciplinary action
  28. Capturing leave on SAGE Premier
  29. Engaging with employees
  30. Keep track of the driving performance monthly

Working conditions: Hybrid and travelling may be required from time to time.
