Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Morea House Hotel is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are consistently clean, well-maintained, and presented to the highest standards.

This role involves supervising the housekeeping team, coordinating daily operations, conducting inspections, and ensuring a seamless and comfortable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, inspections, and task coordination.
2. Ensure all rooms and public spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
3. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure quality control.
4. Lead, motivate, and support the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of performance.
5. Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing development of housekeeping staff.
6. Coordinate with front office and maintenance teams to ensure timely room readiness and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Maintain housekeeping inventory and order supplies when necessary.
8. Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies and regulations.
9. Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. Strong eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
3. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
4. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Familiarity with housekeeping systems and hotel cleaning protocols.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
