This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to lead a dedicated housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Position Overview: As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations within the estate, ensuring that every guest experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and train the housekeeping team, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the estate.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest services.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and manage the ordering process.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency in operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
Salary: R18,000 - R20,000, commensurate with experience.
