Housekeeping Manager - Niche Luxury Boutique Hotel Franschhoek - No Accommodation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years experience in a house keeping manager role within a small LUXURY hospitality environment
• Clear Criminal Record
• Clear Credit ITC Record
• Proven refrences
• Hotel Management Diploma and/or equivalent qualification will be anadvantage

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage & supervise housekeeping staff
• Ensures inter-departmental co-operation, working collaboratively with other departmental heads to ensure maximum effectiveness and output for all partments occurs.
• Makes daily checks on rooms and other facilities to ensure the standards have been met, and daily operational timings adhered to.
• Keeping records and performs stocktaking exercises
• Manage all receiving, storing and control of all Housekeeping supplies, equipment, linen and uniforms
• Maintains an excellent and courteous relationship with guests
• Performs additional management duties within the hotel environment.
• Reports any maintenance defects to the Maintenance Department timeously
• Performs whatever additional duties that Senior management deems fit
