We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to become a key figure in our team of extraordinary individuals. What you will bring:

  • Oversee Maintenance Operations: Manage all maintenance activities to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead a Team: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with other departments to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations while implementing best practices for facility management.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Minimum requirements:

  • Educational Background: Grade 12/Matric Certificate is essential; a tertiary qualification in Maintenance Management is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar position, with demonstrated project management or supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive technical knowledge in maintenance practices, including familiarity with architectural drawings and layouts.
  • Certifications: OHAS qualification is advantageous; previous experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.

  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze issues quickly and implement effective solutions under pressure.

  • Project Management Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets.
