High Court Legal Practitioner (Permanent)

Minimum Requirements:

1. Admitted Attorney or Advocate (the latter must have completed pupilage successfully at any recognized institution).
2. Legal representation at high court Level.
3. Minimum of at least seven (7) years post qualification experience of which five (5) years must be post admission experience.
4. A minimum of four (4) years high court experience / or a minimum of six (6) years regional court experience.
5. Proven track record in criminal matters at high court level.
6. Right of appearance in High Court.
7. Valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication.
9. Analytical thinking.
10. Team player.
11. Self-development orientation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide legal representation to indigent accused persons at High Court Level.
2. Handling of complex criminal high court matters.
3. Training and supervision of candidate attorneys.
4. Perform office administration.
5. Represent women, children and landless people in criminal matters.
