Job description

Carrying out general activities to support the execution of Health & Safety activities.

Your role :

  • Ensures that organization understands and meets regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensures Risk Assessments are completed and significant risk is brought to leadership attention.
  • Provides technical support to implement effective H&S programs in line with Philips requirements.
  • Measures performance through KPIs.
  • Reduction of frequency and severity of accidents and incidents (lagging indicators).
  • Measurement of proactive intervention such as Gemba, Kaizen, behavioral interventions, training and communications (leading indicators).
  • Prepares and presents management reviews to site leadership.

You're the right fit if :

Educational Qualification: Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

You have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the Health & Safety domain, demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols, regulations, and risk management.

Effective Communication and Attention to Detail: Your excellent communication skills enable you to convey safety information clearly and concisely, while your meticulous attention to detail ensures proactive risk management.

Proactive Approach: You actively engage in interventions such as Gemba walks, Kaizen initiatives, and behavioral interventions, fostering a safety-conscious culture and preventing incidents.

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. Indicate if this role is an office/field/onsite role.
