Overview

Hire Resolve’s client in the construction industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Health & Safety Officer in Wellington.

Responsibilities:

  1. Compile Safety Plans / Files
  2. Conduct Internal Auditing
  3. Provide Site training (Induction, Toolbox talks, Risk Assessments)
  4. Ensure Construction Sites operate within the confines of the H&S Act and Construction Regulations
  5. Liaise with Client Agents

Requirements:

  1. 3 – 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry
  2. Ability to work independently
  3. Attention to detail oriented
  4. Sound knowledge of the Occupational H&S Act / Construction Regulations
  5. Stay updated with the latest changes in terms of H&S as promulgated from time to time
  6. Matric/Grade 12
  7. SACPCMP Registration
  8. Incident Investigator certification
  9. Risk Assessor certification
  10. Fall Protection certification
  11. Legal Liability certification
