Job description

Industrial automation company looking for a dynamic person to join their organisation as Head Trainer. The Head of Training is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive technical and product training programs for both customers and employees.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the organisation's training strategy for technical and product-related knowledge.
  2. Align training programs with business objectives and industry trends.
  3. Create, implement, and manage technical and product training modules for employees and customers.
  4. Use diverse training methods, including e-learning, workshops, webinars, and in-person sessions.
  5. Ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the company’s products and services.
  6. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  7. Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturers, marketing, and product teams to develop training that enhances customer product adoption and satisfaction.
  8. Regularly gather customer feedback to refine training offerings.
  9. Work with HR and departmental heads to design onboarding and continuous learning programs for employees.
  10. Focus on improving technical knowledge and operational efficiency.
  11. Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  12. Continuously improve programs based on feedback, industry changes, and emerging technologies.
  13. Ensure training programs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  14. Maintain accurate training records and documentation for customers and employees.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field).
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on technical or product training.
  3. Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for various employee levels.
  4. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  5. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training outcomes and ROI.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite / G Suite.
