Current Opportunity: Head Of Paid Performance Media

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Performance Media and Data Intelligence Department.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive digital paid media strategies aimed at enhancing the online reputation and business growth of the brands we work on.
  • Evaluate and interpret data sourced from social platforms, Google, and revenue reports to refine and optimize campaigns, providing valuable insights for future recommendations.
  • Overseeing the reporting and dashboard creation for clients and internal reporting.
  • Being part of monthly strategic meetings with our clients.
  • Overseeing, managing and training or providing growth guidance for the team members of the media department, including overseeing the hiring of future required team members.
  • Development of new global best-in-breed media strategies and new technologies.
  • Continuous monitoring of the campaign performance across Google, Meta, TikTok, etc. to ensure client's goals are met.
  • Staying aware of new global media trends and strategies.
  • Working with our global offices on their client digital media requests.
  • Managing the asset requests from the creative team through project management.
  • Owning and continuously improving all processes related to the media department's success.
  • Representing the media department's requirements to assist the company in reaching its ambitions.
  • Attend Internal SMT meetings to discuss internal operations and future growth of the company.

Requirements:

  • Five years of proven success in planning and managing paid digital media campaigns.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience managing a paid media team, ideally in a performance media setting.
  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 7 in marketing with a minimum of three years of academic achievement. Proven experience and portfolio will also be considered.
  • Possesses GAIQ certification (Google Analytics Certification), providing an advantageous edge in analytics expertise.
  • Demonstrates a creative mindset, showcasing an ability to generate innovative ideas, a keen eye for design, and a profound understanding of the impactful role storytelling plays in connecting with and motivating consumers.
  • Ideally brings experience from the fashion or sports retail industry.
