Head of Marketing

A leading workforce solutions company, driven to grow people, businesses and economies through connections that allow them to realize their potential has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing in Gauteng.

About the Role

As a strategic business partner, you will ensure that marketing plans are aligned to business requirements. You will be responsible for establishing an integrated and consistent brand architecture to position the brands within the Adcorp Group as industry leaders, across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Group Marketing Strategy and Brand Plans: Collaborate with divisions and sales teams to formulate marketing plans that align with the business strategy, enhance brand awareness, and drive demand.
  • Execute Group Marketing Strategy and Brand Plans: Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement marketing strategies and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage Internal and External Communications and Marketing Automation: Ensure the effective communication of the marketing plan across the organisation, particularly to group executives and sales teams.
  • Budget Development, Forecasting, and Management: Lead the creation and management of marketing budgets, ensuring adherence to approved budgets that align with divisional and brand objectives.
  • Oversee Marketing Events: Coordinate marketing events such as conferences, workshops, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Manage Agency Relationships and Marketing Tech Licenses: Oversee relationships with external agencies and manage marketing technology licenses to ensure optimal resource allocation and effectiveness.
  • Oversee Marketing Data Management: Ensure effective management of marketing data to drive insights and inform decision-making.
  • Develop Monthly Group Marketing Reports: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly reports on group marketing activities and performance metrics.
  • Lead and Manage the Marketing team: Provide leadership and direction to a diverse marketing team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Cultivate Stakeholder Relationships Across the Group: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • Support on the Integrated Annual Report (IAR) and Corporate Affairs: Oversee and coordinate the IAR financial results project, including managing external agencies, costings, design and copywriting.
  • Manage Sponsorships and Media Relations: Oversee media relations and manage external sponsorship initiatives to enhance brand visibility and strengthen community engagement.
