A leading workforce solutions company seeks a Head of IT in Gauteng to shape the digital landscape and drive innovation. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee IT operations, ensuring high reliability, security, and scalability.
• Lead the IT support team to provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard data and systems.
• Develop and manage the IT budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with IT vendors to ensure favourable terms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align IT projects with strategic business objectives.
• Direct and manage IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
• Continuously assess and optimize the IT stack to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• 5 years + relevant experience in a similar managerial role.
• Experience in creating, managing and reporting on IT budgets.
• Experience in working with current and emerging technologies.
• Experience developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
