A leading workforce solutions company seeks a Head of IT in Gauteng to shape the digital landscape and drive innovation. Key responsibilities include:

1. Oversee IT operations, ensuring high reliability, security, and scalability.
2. Lead the IT support team to provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
3. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard data and systems.
4. Develop and manage the IT budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
5. Manage and negotiate contracts with IT vendors to ensure favourable terms.
6. Work closely with stakeholders to align IT projects with strategic business objectives.
7. Direct and manage IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
8. Continuously assess and optimize the IT stack to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
2. 5 years + relevant experience in a similar managerial role.
3. Experience in creating, managing and reporting on IT budgets.
4. Experience in working with current and emerging technologies.
5. Experience developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
