Role Overview:
This senior role involves crafting and executing the strategy for the Multi-Managers division, focusing on delivering exceptional business outcomes and elevating the Best of Breed investment solutions offering. You will lead a cross-functional team to drive business growth and client satisfaction, managing relationships across multiple industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of investment solutions and business development strategies.
- Drive the investment proposition to ensure optimal growth and client engagement.
- Manage the Best of Breed capability and ensure positive investment flows.
- Cultivate strong relationships with financial advisors, both tied and independent.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of investment platforms and the discretionary fund management (DFM) market.
- Oversee business development, client servicing, and growth strategy for the Multi-Manager proposition.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set and track sales and growth targets.
- Increase the market presence through thought leadership, articles, and enhanced visibility.
- Analyze the competitive landscape to adapt and strengthen the division's position in multi-management solutions.
- Foster partnerships across the organization and enhance market penetration externally.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement a growth strategy for Best of Breed solutions using both internal capabilities and strategic partnerships.
- Drive thought leadership within the industry and represent the brand at various industry events.
- Manage internal teams to deliver on business and growth objectives, ensuring alignment with the broader company strategy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BCom/Business Science degree (required).
- MBA, CFA, or Actuarial Science qualification (preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in the investment industry with a proven track record in asset management.
- Strong business development acumen and industry knowledge.
- Expertise in building and maintaining senior-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Offshore investment knowledge is advantageous.
- Professional demeanor when engaging with clients and team members.
