Strategy

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement the Groups IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
  2. Advise the executive team on emerging technologies and trends to drive digital transformation.
  3. Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  4. Establish metrics and KPIs to measure IT performance and impact on business outcomes.

Cyber Security And Risk Management

  1. Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and practices to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  2. Oversee compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements related to IT and data protection.
  3. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  4. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure resilience.

IT Operations And Infrastructure

  1. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
  2. Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT services.
  3. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure optimal service and pricing.
  4. Drive the adoption of cloud-based solutions, where appropriate, to enhance flexibility and efficiency.

Team Leadership And Development

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  2. Define roles and responsibilities within the IT department, ensuring clarity and accountability.
  3. Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve the Groups objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Communicate IT strategy, priorities, and performance to the executive team and Board of Directors.
  2. Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
  3. Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulators.

Qualifications And Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record in strategy development and execution.
  3. In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  4. Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
