Summary: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance and Administration is responsible for driving financial performance and supporting business growth, combining financial management with business acumen to optimize resource allocation and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
2. Proactively contribute to strategic decision-making using financial data to drive efficiency, profitability, and long-term success
3. Provide actionable insights to the Managing Director, Board of Directors, and Shareholders

Requirements:

1. Chartered Accountant (CA (SA))
2. Postgraduate Qualification advantageous
3. Registration with relevant professional body recommended
4. Advanced knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
5. 7+ Years' of experience in financial management including at least 4 years in a senior leadership role
6. Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
7. Experience with hedge accounting recommended
8. Proven strategic leadership with experience in leading a finance team, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
9. Corporate governance and risk management with a solid understanding and practical experience in ensuring compliance with legal regulations, risk management, and corporate governance frameworks
10. Stakeholder engagement with experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as the Board of Directors, auditors, and external partners
