About the Head of Finance Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Finance to lead our finance function and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to think strategically.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for BCB Technology, developing and executing processes to ensure successful execution of strategies.
• Provide value-added support to technology, business, and finance stakeholders, driving transformation of finance into a true business partner.
• Drive business change beyond a narrow finance lens, leveraging expertise to inform business direction.
• Manage the BCB Technology Finance team according to SBG's leadership principles and values, focusing on high-performance culture.
• Liaise with external and internal audit, clearing identified issues through targeted interventions.
• Nurture relationships that accommodate agile ways of working, delivering strategic business results.

Requirements

• Post-Graduate Degree in Finance or related field.
• At least 10 years' experience in financial services, including heading up a finance team and delivering MIS.
• Management Accounting reporting experience, understanding of finance regulatory frameworks.
• Broad business environment knowledge, financial analysis techniques, and literacy in finance applications.

The Head of Finance plays a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the organization meets its performance objectives. This involves providing comprehensive financial analysis, managing statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team leadership.
