Now, we're taking UN/COMMON to the next level—expanding into the Middle East, a region on the verge of explosive digital commerce growth.

Your Role

As the Head of Ecommerce Delivery, you'll be stepping into an exciting leadership role where you'll be at the helm of launching and expanding this new branch. Collaborating closely with the Founder, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, execution, and growth of our ambitious Middle East expansion. This position goes beyond mere project management—it's about building a dynamic powerhouse, steering a multi-million-dollar business unit, and setting bold new benchmarks for digital commerce in the region.

You will be tasked with scaling our Shopify Plus and VTEX delivery practice into a $5M business unit over the coming 36 months.

In this leadership role, you'll oversee our Strategy, UX, Development, Project Management, and QA teams, ensuring superior profitability, structure, and operational success for website redesigns, replatforming initiatives, and retainers. Your focus will be on financial performance, operational efficiency, and driving industry innovation as you build and scale a world-class e-commerce practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a $3M-$5M P&L, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, from initial strategy and design through development, QA, and UAT to final delivery
  • Client Engagement: Oversee relationships with major clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns proactively
  • Build and scale Shopify, CRO, and VTEX practice areas, ensuring best-in-class execution
  • Drive hiring and recruitment, building an expert team of project managers, strategists, and freelancers
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of service delivery excellence across all departments
  • Engage directly with clients, ensuring strong relationships, high satisfaction, and consistent service excellence
  • Ensure scope and budget control, monitoring hours and project timelines to maintain efficiency
  • Enhance cross-functional collaboration, working with designers, developers, QA, and key stakeholders for seamless execution
  • Sales Support: Lead pre-sales efforts, including solutioning, cost estimation, and proposal development
  • Innovation: Integrate AI, automation, and emerging technologies to optimize processes and improve delivery quality
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement processes that improve operational efficiency and enhance service delivery
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other leadership teams to align strategies and achieve broader company goals
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for 2025
  • Gross Margin: Maintain a minimum 55% margin by optimizing staffing and operational costs
  • Client Retention: Achieve 80%+ retention, ensuring consistency across long-term engagements
  • Achieve Shopify Plus Platinum Partnership Status in Middle East Region
Requirements
  • 5+ years in an e-commerce agency, leading project management, delivery, or strategy
  • Experience managing ecommerce projects throughout the SDLC (Shopify, VTEX, Magento, etc.)
  • Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile experience
  • Proven ability to manage P&L responsibilities ($1.5M+), ensuring financial and operational efficiency
  • Full Project Lifecycle Management, overseeing projects from strategy and design through final handover
  • Strong client engagement skills, capable of building relationships and ensuring high-class service delivery
  • Cross-functional team leadership, managing multiple stakeholders across design, development, QA, and UAT
  • Scope and timeline management, ensuring deliverables align with objectives and budget expectations
  • Excellent English communication skills, with a track record of managing client interactions
