We are seeking a dynamic and experienced actuary to join our team as the Short-Term Capital and Reserving Actuarial Head.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the short-term capital and reserving functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain models for short-term capital and reserving requirements.
2. Monitor and analyze trends in claims, reserves, and capital adequacy.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies.
4. Provide expert advice on actuarial matters to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in actuarial roles, with a focus on short-term capital and reserving.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Excel.
