Head Guide & Hospitality Manager

Role Overview: As a couple, you will share responsibilities across guiding and hospitality management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and creating an environment where guests feel at home. This role involves overseeing guided activities, managing hospitality services, and collaborating with the leadership team to maintain and enhance our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Head Guide (Partner 1):

• Lead, coordinate, and participate in guest activities, tours, and excursions.
• Train, supervise, and mentor guiding staff to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure all outdoor activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Manage and maintain equipment, schedules, and logistics for guided experiences.
• FGASA NQF 4 & PDP.

Hospitality Manager (Partner 2):

• Oversee daily hospitality operations, including accommodations, dining, and guest services.
• Train and manage staff to provide exceptional service throughout all guest touchpoints.
• Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and address guest feedback effectively.
• Collaborate with the culinary and housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless experience.

Shared Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Work together to design and implement memorable guest experiences.
• Contribute to marketing efforts through guest engagement and testimonials.
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in guiding, hospitality, or tourism, with at least one partner having a leadership background in guiding and the other in hospitality management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
