Head : Enterprise Architecture

The Head of Enterprise Architecture drives our digital transformation by architecting an enterprise-wide technology framework that aligns IT systems with business objectives.

This role champions innovation, governance, and optimal technology investments through strategic stakeholder collaboration, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Overview:

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in IT, or related field

Experience:

1. IT experience in an enterprise architecture leadership role in the Financial Services Industry – 10 to 15 years' experience required
2. Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL) – 10 to 15 years of experience required
3. Proven experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), API management, and microservices architectures – 10 to 15 years' experience
4. Expertise in business, data, application, and technology architecture domains – 10 to 15 years' experience
5. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills – 10 to 15 years' experience
6. Leading digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives – 10 to 15 years' experience
7. Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in enterprise IT environments – 10 to 15 years' experience

Key Performance Areas:

Enterprise Architecture Strategy & Leadership

1. Develop and implement an enterprise architecture strategy that aligns with business goals and IT objectives.
2. Establish and enforce architecture standards, principles, and best practices across the organization.
3. Lead the adoption of modern architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or other industry standards.
4. Drive technology innovation and digital transformation initiatives.

Architecture Development & Governance

1. Oversee the development and evolution of business, data, application, and technology architectures.
2. Ensure seamless integration of applications, data, and infrastructure across different business units.
3. Define governance processes and ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards.
4. Lead the development of architecture roadmaps and ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

1. Work closely with C-suite executives, business leaders, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into architectural solutions.
2. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on technology trends and their impact on the organization.
3. Facilitate architectural decision-making and ensure alignment between IT and business.

Objectives:

1. Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance business capabilities.
2. Drive cloud transformation, API strategy, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
3. Optimize IT investments by identifying opportunities to consolidate, modernize, and streamline technology landscapes.
