Experienced Hotel Group Sales Manager based in Sandton for multiple properties based in Gauteng, KZN and Cape Town.
Job Summary
The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase revenue, drive brand awareness, and grow market share for our hotel group. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the hotel
- Managing sales initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Overseeing the sales team and setting revenue goals
- Creating and managing marketing budgets
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities with the Revenue Manager
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Representing the hotel at industry events and trade shows
- Developing partnerships with local businesses and tourism organizations
- Managing online presence and social media strategies
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators with the Revenue Manager
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management
- 5+ years of experience in hotel sales or marketing
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software and CRM systems

- Occupancy rates
- Average daily rate (ADR)
- Total revenue generated from group bookings
- Marketing return on investment (ROI)
