Our client, an established Group company providing tailored solutions for their clients, is looking for you to join their team as Group Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the general ledger
  
• Group revenue calculation and journals
  
• Posting of monthly journals (Ad hoc and standard monthly journals)
  
• Year-end audit responsibilities i.e. liaising with auditors and assisting with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements
  
• Experience in drafting Group and Company AFS
  
• Advising on appropriate accounting treatment of complex transactions
  
• Preparation of management accounts and group consolidation
  
• Balance sheet reconciliations
  
• Review of Bank Reconciliations
  
• Maintain/Review the fixed assets register
  
• Maintaining and updating loan amortisation schedules
  
• Detailed monthly tax calculations (Income Tax and Deferred Tax)
  
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations/monthly review of balance sheet
  
• Reviewing monthly VAT returns
  
• Supporting Head of Finance and Finance Exec with ad hoc projects
  

Requirements:

• Newly Qualified CA(SA)
  
• 1-2 years post-articles experience
