Group Finance Manager

DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSIS
An esteemed and well-established Company in the agriculture sector has an opportunity available for an experienced Group Finance Manager. This hybrid position, based in Kempton Park, requires a qualified CA(SA) with strong group-level financial leadership experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, building high-performing teams, and driving excellence across the group's financial function.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant - CA(SA)
2. Extensive post-articles experience in a senior finance leadership role
3. Proven experience at group level, including consolidations and reporting
4. Strong strategic and commercial acumen
5. Previous experience in the agriculture, forestry, or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the executive team
2. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing group finance team
3. Oversee group reporting, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
4. Ensure statutory compliance and manage external audit processes
5. Drive the implementation of financial controls, systems and reporting structures
6. Manage complexity across business units and deliver consolidated financial insights
7. Act as a strategic partner to business units and contribute to long-term financial decision-making
8. Foster a performance-driven culture and continuously improve financial operations
