We are looking for an experienced and skilled Grill Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Florentin restaurant. The ideal candidate must be passionate about food and cooking, able to handle high-pressure environments, and committed to delivering high-quality dishes.
Job Description:
Grill a variety of meats, vegetables, and seafood to perfection, maintaining consistency in flavour and presentation.
Cook eggs with precision in all different ways.
Prepare and season ingredients for grilling, following specific recipes and standards.
Assist with food preparation covering all stations and following strict recipes.
Ensure grill station is well-stocked, clean, and complies with safety and sanitation standards.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak service times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of food.
Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen are up to our very high standards.
Maintain equipment in top shape and report any issues with grilling equipment to management.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Griller Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and equipment, particularly with open flame grilling and pans.
Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Passion for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
