Graphic Designer at Dananda

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing all creative design work, developing promotional materials, and ensuring brand consistency across digital and print platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing strategies, visual storytelling, and proficiency in graphic design.

Responsibilities: Design & Production

• Establish and execute creative direction in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
• Develop promotional graphics for the website, social media, email campaigns, sales literature, presentations, tradeshow materials, and digital banner ads.
• Design packaging, retail displays, and point-of-purchase (POP) materials in line with brand standards.
• Create web banners, landing pages, and digital ads in coordination with the Marketing Manager.
• Provide art direction for product images, including photography, editing, and managing digital assets.
• Ensure all designs adhere to corporate brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
• Develop infographics and digital content aligned with social media and marketing strategies.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure accurate compliance labeling and language in marketing materials.
• Maintain an organized database of digital images and ensure all photography meets industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising, or communications with a focus on graphic design.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of retail packaging design requirements.
• Experience in basic photography and photo editing.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and sales teams.
• Creative vision with the ability to communicate brand messaging visually.
• Familiarity with best practices in digital design (file formats, resolution, web optimization).
