Senior Graphic Designer – Product, POSM, Packaging & Built Environments

We are currently on the lookout for an accomplished POSM specialist / Graphic Designer to join our well-established POSM & built environment design team.

Job Overview: To create visually appealing and effective Point of Sale Materials (POSM) that promote multiple FMCG brands in our stable of clients. This includes working collaboratively with the creative and strategic team to develop and execute design concepts that align with brands' objectives and target market.

Main Purpose of the Job: Ideation and creation for POSM displays for the retail and wholesale environments, including event solutions and shop fitting, and instore visual representation of POSM.

Requirements:

1. At least 8 years relevant experience in developing world class POSM design solutions.
2. Working knowledge of Adobe Suite – Essential - Photoshop, Illustrator.
3. Advantages: After Effects and / InDesign.
4. Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, PDF, and Excel.
5. Strong knowledge of polygon-based modelling software (Preferably Cinema 4D).
6. Ability to conceptualise, model, texture and render a campaign in isolation.
7. Ability to take conceptual designs to finished print ready artwork.
8. Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment.
9. Able to take criticism and direction from the creative director.
10. PC or Mac literate.
11. Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
12. Mature enough to self-monitor times, check your own work, and maintain consistency.
13. Ability to work quickly, juggling multiple accounts and tasks at the same time.

We will require a portfolio of POSM work completed for our assessment.

Qualification Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. BA Degree, N Dip, or equivalent in Creative Brand Communications - Graphic Design, Art Direction, Fine Arts, Marketing, Animation qualifications (advantageous).
3. Degree MUST be from a reputable and internationally recognised institution.

Work Experience: Min. 8+ years' experience in the advertising POSM industry (Essential).
